Man the Game is very cool, Good job + I can't join you discord server for some reason
Good game support!
No sound is playing in the Linux build, also the "haunted ps1" intro video at the start doesn't play, instead only showing a black screen.
Hmm... Interesting. Sorry you're having troubles with it :(
I don't know if I'll be going back to updating the demo, but the feedback is helpful! Thank you!
gamejolt trophies?
reminds me of petscop
I might check it out sometime.
great game! ReAlly creepy
I had some difficulties finding out where to go after getting to the room with the map, but after I figured that out it went pretty well.
Really nice for a 48 hour game, giving me some heavy Yume Nikki vibes.
Thanks! I'm glad you were able to figure it out, and I hope the challenge wasn't too overbearing :D
gave me yume nikki vibes and it was cute but thats hard to play :'(
Super cool Petscop-esque style, Took me a while to beat the game because my dumb ass was reading the map upside down, but i eventually finished the game, and loved the atmosphere. The music pairs super well with the areas, and the art style is very cutesy which contributes to the whole childlike spook aesthetic. The "moon" area was a bit large in my opinion. Nevertheless, Sick checkered floors and interesting colours, Excited to see more!
This absolutely wears its inspirations on its sleeve, and is an obvious love letter to the likes of Yume Nikki. I'm not personally a fan of getting stuck in the mazes, or wandering the empty areas, but this oozes style and quality. For the jam, that's doubly impressive.
that's basically PetScop and Yume Nikki
I love the art style in this. It's very cute in a suitably menacing way. The songs also match the scenarios quite well. It took me quite a while, but I actually got to the ending. It was cool once I finally put together what the maps were for (the new pictures certainly helped too). The zoomed out camera helped with the maze, but I think both the areas could do with being shrunk down a little. Really impressive scope for the game jam.
Also, I don't know how much this would detract from the tone of the game, but I'd love for there to be a classic-Resident-Evil-style quickturn in the game. It would have especially helped with navigating the maze.
Thank you so much for the great feedback! I'm glad the update helped, and it's great to hear that the map clues helped!
As for the quick turn, that's a pretty good idea, I'll play around with it and see if it fits!
